YJCC Kehillah Partnership
Extended for the 2010-2011 year!
Members of Temple Avodat Shalom will once again have the opportunity of joining the YJCC at a discounted cost of only $360 per family. If you wish to join, contact the temple office. Payment is due along with a minimum of one-quarter of temple dues no later than August 1st.

Vacation Time
Rabbi Borovitz will be away on vacation and sabbatical leave the majority of this summer, beginning Sunday, June 27. Cantor Josephson will be on vacation from July 18 to August 16. During those weeks, the Rabbi will be available for life cycle occasions and will be at the Temple on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Torah Study at noon on Thursdays will continue uninterrupted throughout the summer. Cantor Josephson will be teaching on weeks that the Rabbi is away.
Saturday morning Wrestling with the Torah will continue through June 26 but be on hiatus from July 3 through Labor Day weekend.

Another Honor For Our Rabbi

On June 9th at the Jewish Community Relations Council’s annual meeting at the UJA-NNJ building at 50 Eisenhower in Paramus at 7:30 pm, Rabbi Borovitz will be installed as the new Chairman of the JCRC of Northern New Jersey. It is a public meeting and all are invited to attend.
