Temple Avodat Shalom is a warm and welcoming Reform Jewish community in Bergen County where individuals and families can worship, study, celebrate, commemorate and work together to repair the world in an atmosphere of equality, diversity, and respect for Jewish traditions. We offer a full schedule of worship services, pastoral support and life cycle services under the leadership of Rabbi Neal Borovitz and Cantor Ronit Josephson. Our religious school serving children and their parents from preschool through Bar/Bat Mitzvah, confirmation and high school is led by Rabbi Paula Feldstein. We also offer a full menu of adult educational and social activities, including numerous clubs for all ages, events, and the monthly Temple Bulletin that bring the community together.
